With the stress of the upcoming elections, the last thing we needed was extra trouble. Based on an article by CNN these past couple of days , somebody has set multiple ballot drop-off boxes on fire in Portland, Oregon , and Vancouver, Washington. This causes a massive issue with counting the ballots and settling the final debate of who our next president will be. Thankfully , the ballot drop-off box in Portland was mostly unaffected , so those ballots can still be counted, unlike in Washington where hundreds of ballots were burned. We are unaware of what will happen to the affected ballots because they’re currently wet after the fire was put out and the recent rain. Police are still searching for the culprit , but these crimes were committed early in the morning on Monday. According to CNN , if voters believe their ballot was impacted and unable to be salvaged , then they will have to order a replacement ballot that will arrive before the election day on November 5th.
