The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is for students who want to see change in their schools and district. It aims to make a difference for all students in the LAUSD. Under the guidance of Board member Scott Schmerelson, SAC members communicate with the student body of their school and inform them of any updates that might concern the school. Also on how they could improve the school from making the campus more green to fixing issues that present in the school that they would like to address and advocate for their school,
The SAC requires dedicated and active members of the school community to understand the schools’ needs and what could possibly make them better. SAC meets every Wednesday, either in person or virtually, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
If you have any questions you could direct them to Karla Silva [email protected] who is the school and community coordinator.
