Open House for Northridge Academy High School is happening on April 10th from 5 to 7 p.m. This will be an Open House that no one has experienced before, adding more fun aspects to the event than previous years. During this event, there will be food and games available, and teachers will be prompting different AP classes during the event as well. There will also be clubs and different teaching departments there as well to show what Northridge Academy has to offer. It also gives parents a chance to visit the classes that their kids are taking to see the work they have done and get updates on their achievements. They are going to be showcasing the CSUN Early College Academy and Math Camp, which is a summer program where Northridge Academy partners with CSUN to teach upcoming freshmen basic math skills. Prospective students have also invited.
Different clubs will also be present, those being Archery Club, Armenian Club, BSU (Black Student Union), Chess Club, Class of 2027, Class of 2028, CSF (California Scholarship Federation), Earth Club, Library Leadership, Senior Council, STEM Club, Academic Decathlon, and more. There are also going to be different people talking about different academic departments like the English Language Arts Department, the Science Department, the Social Science Department, and other departments. The different food trucks that the school would be partnering with are Tacos El Patron, Fry Day, Hamburger Planet, and Churros Estilo Guadalajara. There will also be special presentations that highlight how Northridge Academy is special.
