Senior Council hosts Winter Onsieland annually, turning Northridge Academy’s (NAHS) quad into a festive wonderland. This year, the event is taking place on December 6th from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, an evening filled with delicious food, entertainment, and countless number of activities- whilst supporting your class.
Winter Onsieland gives each class an opportunity to raise their funds by selling food, drinks, tamales, and much more. The student government from each class sets up their table amongst the office, selling everything from hot cocoa and popcorn to savory pizza tamales. This is a great opportunity to not only fundraise but to also promote the classes and show how hard they work to raise funds for their senior year.
However, the event is not just about food- it’s a time for students, faculty, and staff to come together. Throughout the night, the quad is brought to life with games, memories, and music. A popular tradition is the movie hosted outside featuring a holiday classic. The movie adds to the festive atmosphere and provides a perfect way to destress before the week of finals.
Winter Onesie Land is more than just a way to make profits- it’s a celebration of school spirit and accomplishments. Senior Council is hard at work bringing the school together for a night of memories, laughter, and fun. It is the perfect way to kick off the holidays and create lasting memories for all the students at NAHS.
